Thank you for sharing this wonderful piece Nadia. I want to acknowledge you for the time and effort it takes to create and share content vulnerably from the heart. Reading this reminds me of a conversation I had with a friend once. He asked me if every hardship I experienced in life made me stronger. I said “No. I think it’s made me softer. It’s given me a softer heart. I’ve become more empathetic and compassionate towards others because I know what pain and suffering is. I know what it feels like to be human.” Sending you love ❤️
Thank you so much for your words. This reminds me of and feels like an addition to the words by Rumi: "you have to keep breaking your heart until it opens." And the words of Jaiya John: "May the ocean of our tears soften the stone of our heart. May we break all the way to beautiful."
Now I'm here crying and softening, softening. Thank you for being there and sharing your love.
Sometimes we think letting go something will make us weak but it might make us softer. Your explanation of being soft is awesome. It reminds us this:being soft is not weakness maybe it is mature.
A simple truth I needed this morning 🤍✨
