Your purpose is in plain sight. You don’t have to dig for it. Your purpose is to grow. Your purpose is to be fully alive. In order to be fully alive you have to feel everything. To feel everything you have to heal. And to heal you have to break. The truth is that often, you have to break your own heart first. To break your own heart you have to choose yourself instead of being loyal so you can belong. This is the hard part: to choose yourself you have to be honest with yourself. Then you have to be honest with others. You have to run towards truth, if you cannot run, walk. If you cannot walk, crawl. Do it at all costs. Your best life depends on it. You have to question everything they have told you you should be, shed the skins you have grown over decades, the layers you wore like masks, you have to close the curtain on the performance you studied in order to be loved. You have to give people the opportunity to love the real you. You won’t know if they do until you show them who that is. You will be afraid of this. And you will have to do it afraid.

End the performance of a lifetime
Oooft- this resonates so deeply with me, and something I wrote a while ago and recently returned to as I am in a near constant flux of remembering and forgetting these truths. It was also the subject of several conversations I have had recently, which I hope to be indicative of a shift in collective consciousness, but also fear that I may have created an echo chamber of people who share my ideals. Not that it's necessarily bad if that is the case- it's good to know others are engaged in the work of knowing themselves and that one is not alone in it.💛
Le parole che dovevo leggere oggi!! Grazie Nadia! xx
